The PPD-130 peristaltic pump dispenser transfers low viscosity liquids by pressure displacement applied to a turning rotor against a tube carrying material.

Air free dispensing is often required for accurate transfer of volatile liquids, the technology is proven and the pumps are chosen to avoid hazardous substances. Operator contact is limited and the PPD130 can dispense shots between 0.01 - 6ml/min using Teflon tubing. The pump is reversible to provide snuff-back.

Usually these pumps are chosen because the liquids are hazardous or difficult to work with and it is advisable to limit operator contact. Another reason is that peristaltic pumps are air free.
